Pricing / Payment
All prices are in Singapore Dollars and we accept Visa, Mastercard and AMEX credit card payments.
Our website is secured with SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) 256-bit encryption technology using HTTPS. This can be identified by the SSL padlock icon beside our website URL.
Orders
When you place an order to purchase products from us, your order is deemed an offer to purchase products from us. We have absolute discretion to reject your order without any reason.
You cannot cancel your order once we accept your order. We reserve the right to refund you the price of any product/s for which you have paid (in lieu of delivery or supply of such product/s), even after we have sent you an email informing that your order has been accepted and payment has been received by us.
Refunds & Replacements
Items sold are not exchangeable or refundable. We reserve the right to refund or provide an exchange with an item of similar value in the event of stock unavailability.
Save for the above, please write in to us within 3 days from the delivery date if there is an issue with your order. Please note that the items must be in original condition (ie: the items are not used or installed) and in the original packaging.
In the event that your order cancellation is accepted, do note that a restock and administrative fee will be charged.
Delivery is a hard cost incurred and is non-refundable.
Product Warranty (Carry-In)
The warranty period is 6 months from the date of delivery for downlights / track lights and lighting fixtures (bulbs are excluded from warranty). The warranty is valid only if the item is properly installed, correctly operated, used under decent maintenance and if there appears a clear manufacturing defect. The order confirmation must be submitted together with your request.
The warranty does not cover damages caused by misuse, corrosion or a result of defective maintenance. The warranty does not cover either shut-down cost of production or other consequential damages.
Light Vault reserves the right to repair the item, replace with an item of a similar value or provide a refund for the item.
Product Quality Claim / Returns
The images of the products on our Website are for illustrative purposes only and are not to scale. Please refer to the measurements in the product description for accuracy on the product size or contact us if you require clarifications. Colours of products may differ due to colour calibration of individual’s computer and it might appear darker/lighter in reality. For measurements, please allow variance +/- of 3cm. All lighting fixtures are sold without bulbs.
We do not warrant that product descriptions or other content on the Website are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.
We strictly do not accept refunds or exchanges for change-of-mind.
Customers are advised to check their item at delivery and reject any damaged item. If you did not reject any item, please email us at sales[at]lightvault.com.sg within 24 hours from receipt of items with supporting photos and/or videos.
Installation / Advice
You hold us free of all liability and responsibility for any actions or results or adverse situations created as a direct result of specific referral or advice given by us.
Privacy Policy
Light Vault (Light Vault Pte Ltd) respects the privacy rights of our customers and we will only track statistics for business purposes. No private information will be disclosed to unrelated entities unless required by law. However, this excludes trusted third parties engaged by us in website or business operations (ie: web developers and courier services).
All email addresses in our mailing list are kept strictly confidential. The Privacy Policy applies to personal data collected, stored, disclosed and/or processed by Light Vault.
Policy is based on the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”) and all the associated regulations and guidelines as may from time to time be issued by the Personal Data Protection Commission (“PDPC”) of Singapore. Light Vault’s practices may be subjected to different or more restrictive local laws in jurisdictions outside of Singapore.
If you subscribe to our mailing list, we may use your email address to send you information about products or services. You may opt to unsubscribe at any point in time.
Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitations of Liability
We will not be liable for any loss or damage:
a) that you may incur as a result of your using or relying on any statement, opinion, representation, image or information in this Website;
b) resulting from any delay in operation or transmission, communication failure, Internet access difficulties or malfunction of equipment or software; and/or
c) We, and our parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, shareholders, employees and agents, shall not be liable, in any circumstances or legal theories whatsoever, for any loss of data, business, profits or goodwill, loss of use, interruption of business, or for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages of any character, even if we are aware of the risk of such damages, that result in any way from your use or inability to access the Website. Our liability to you shall not, for any reason, exceed S$100 (Singapore Dollars one hundred only). This limitation applies to all causes of action in the aggregate including, without limitation, breach of contract, breach of warranty, negligence, strict liability, misrepresentations and other torts.
Delayed Delivery due to Unforeseen Situations
In the event of delay in shipment due to unforeseen situations, Light Vault reserves the right to reschedule the delivery, subjected to availability of next delivery slot.
No specific time of delivery can be provided. A time frame will be advised but cannot be guaranteed.
Light Vault shall not be liable for any consequences or any loss suffered or expenses incurred (whether direct or indirect) due to the delay in the shipment / delivery of the goods and no such delay shall entitle the customer to treat this agreement as being repudiated by Light Vault or to any comparison.
Free Storage
Light Vault will provide free storage for 1 month from the estimated delivery date. After the 1 month free storage period, storage charges will be at 10% of the item value per month.
